culture night

As part of Sligo’s ‘Culture Night‘ celebrations my aroundNorth installation will be featured at The Model Arts Centre on Friday 18th September.  As a prelude to the installation itself (running between 8pm – 11pm) there will be a workshop for musicians interested in exploring the feasibility of using musical skills to interpret star catalogue data.  The workshop is open to all musicians who would like to bring their instruments and explore this link between science, astronomy and art.  Be prepared to experience the stars as you have never heard them before!
